Back at C-Stone (for a visit)

So I am playing djembe this weekend at Cornerstone. My friend Ron will be giving his last sermons to Cornerstone this weekend as he is preparing a move to Manchester, England. It was nice to have been included in the music, as our friendship pre-dates both Ron's and my own tenure at Cornerstone. I was originally asked to play drumset, however the teams new drummer also was at rehearsal last night, and seemed anxious to play set over the djembe. I didn't mind the switch.

I have always liked the djembe, I was able to get a dozen or so really distinct sounds from it last night. We'll see how Sunday goes, it should be alot of fun, even if we are saying goodbye to a really good friend.
